About the name

"Silent Meow" is just a phrase I greatly enjoyed saying in response to my cat Holden and his trademark silent meows. Holden had a big personality, and he really put some emotion behind his silent meows (or loud meows, or dramatic flops, or passionate head bumps etc). What does it mean when cats meow silently? For the most part, it is just another way they express affection.
